The Park at the Palić Lake was created in 1840, when it was discovered that the lake mud along with the local wind and sun have healing properties. Near the lake there is a unique hotel and restaurant called “Majkin Salaš” (Mother’s Farm). Covering 10 hectares of land, it is an authentic reminder of the traditional way of living in this area. Many of the farms in Vojvodina were renovated and have become tourist and gastronomic attractions.
