Novi Sad is a mixture of Serbian and Austro-Hungarian culture, as reflected in its plazas, buildings, beaches on the Danube River, and the Petrovaradin Fortress.
Niš, birthplace of Emperor Constantine, on the other hand, contains an Oriental touch and Roman history. Although these cities are so different historically and geographically, they still have a lot in common: friendly people and a desire to reveal to the visitor their unique traits.
