Did you know that the word “vampire” is of Serbian origin?
In the valley of the river Jadar you will find the roots of all the vampires of the world. Don’t worry though, you can overcome your fear with an authentic Serbian plum brandy, for which this area is famous. Over 3000 hectares of plum tree were planted in the Jadar region. Rakija (eng. fruit brandy) is made of quince, pears, apricots, apples…. and of course plum.
