Dunav (eng. Danube), as wide as the sea, flows through ten European countries (including 588 km through Serbia). The National Park Djerdap (eng. Iron Gate) has many natural and cultural values such as: 8000 year old archaeological site Lepenski Vir, Golubac medieval fortress, tables and bridge built during the time of the Roman Emperor Trajan.
