The Homoljske Mountains make up a mystical landscape with huge caves, legends of hidden treasure, numerous waterways, waterfalls, rocky peaks, and mountain lookouts… In municipality of Žagubica, part of Homolje area, lies the Mlava spring, fed from one of the deepest underground sources in Europe, known as an oasis of peace and quietness.
Beljanica Mountain rises between Mlava and Resava River, as one of the favourite take-off / landing paths for paragliding. This mountain is a real paradise for the speleological activity, with many pits, channels and caves.
